Our senior pastor, Don Workman, has ministered at Faith since February 1991. Prior to becoming our pastor, he was senior pastor of First Baptist Church in Cincinnatus, New York. He began his ministry career by serving in two assistant/youth pastorates, one in Horseheads, New York and then later in Willoughby, Ohio. He has been in full-time ministry since 1978.
He attended Cedarville University of Ohio, but later transferred and graduated from Baptist Bible College of PA. Here he met his wife, Beth, who also graduated from BBC with a Bachelors degree in Sacred Music (Vocal Performance).  Beth has started and has taught the Four Year Old Kindergarten at Northfield Baptist Christian School since 1994.  She also gives private voice lessons as well as continuing her own training at The Music Settlement in Cleveland, Ohio.  They have been married since August, 1978 and the Lord has blessed them with four children and two grandsons:

Workman Family January, 2007

Pastor Workman has completed a Master's degree from Baptist Bible Seminary of PA, and continues additional graduate work.  He is certified as a trainer with Evangelism Explosion International, is an associate member of the Evangelical Theological Society as well as having training for other ministry areas. He has taught for several years a variety of courses with the Northeast Distance Learning program of the Moody Bible Institute as well as with the Baptist Bible Institute of the Greater Cleveland area.  His interests include fishing and other activities with his family, several sports (primarily basketball), "playing" the drums, and bargain hunting.
Our people here have appreciated his winsomeness, approachability, and sense of humor in addition to a firm commitment to the Word of God and the God of the Word. Our church has made several strides forward under his ministry, and we anticipate further advancement as we remain sensitive to God and have a heart for our community in which God has placed us.
